Joseph Kim Linch

Joe Linch, born on March 4, 1964 in the Philippines to the late Linda and Billy Linch, Jr., passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 16, 2022 in Pooler, GA. He was 58 years old.

Joe grew up in Centerville, GA and graduated with Northside High School’s Class of ’82. He managed PoFolks for over 20 years and was most recently working at Sam’s Club in Pooler and The Kennickell Group in Savannah. A Disney World enthusiast, Joe enjoyed visiting the “Happiest Place on Earth” with his nephew, Wesley, each year. He was very talented at drawing and was a baseball lover, as well, and enjoyed coaching his brothers’ baseball teams over the years. Joe was also a proud Eagle Scout and Scout Master who enjoyed being outdoors, especially while kayaking. He enjoyed attending Southside Baptist Church while living in Warner Robins.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving siblings, David Linch of Centerville, Johnny Linch (Shannon) of Kathleen, Jimmy Linch of Centerville, Susan Ravan (Randy) of Ranger, Judy McCrary of Centerville and Jerry Linch (Jeffrey) of Peachtree Corners; and nieces and nephews, Wesley Linch, Keeley Linch, Jacob Linch, Justin McCrary, Morgan McCrary Gayton, Cade Gayton, Kylen Gayton and Maggie McCrary. In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ashley Linch.

A memorial gathering will take place on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A memorial service celebrating Joe’s life will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Reverend David Miller officiating.

The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of Joe to the American Heart Association, 5962 Zebulon Road, PMB #359, Macon, GA 31210.
