Joseph M. Smith

Joseph M. Smith, 67, died Sunday, December 14, 2003 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 16 at the First Baptist Church of Centerville. Interment will follow at First Baptist Church of Centerville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 Monday evening at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mr. Smith was born in Baldwin County, Georgia. He retired from the United States Air Force and civil service at Robins AFB. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Centerville, the Antique Auto Club and the Centerville Senior Citizens Club. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Smith and sister, Anita Smith Carlton.

He was survived by his wife Mary Helen Smith, Centerville; mother, Annie Smith, Milledgeville; daughters, Patricia Harbin, Centerville, Jo Lynn Smith, Floral City, FL; son, Jonathan M. Smith,Centerville; brothers, James ''Jimmy'' Smith, Gordon, John ''Tommy'' Smith, Stone Mountain, Oma Lee Smith, Milledgeville, Roger Smith, Vidalia, Ray Smith, Milledgeville and a granddaughter, Brittany Nicole Harbin, Centerville.
