Joseph Vincent Piazza

Joseph Vincent Piazza, 72, entered into rest on Saturday, January 17, 2015.

Joseph was born on September 18, 1942 in Birmingham, Alabama. He was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and enjoyed teaching RCIA. Joseph was a graduate of the University of Alabama and worked thirty-five years of dedicated civil service in Financial Management at Robins Air Force Base. He loved to fish and enjoyed teaching his family and especially his grandchildren how to cook. His parents, Vincent and Mary Piazza, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of forty-two years, Martha Marie Crutchfield Piazza; daughters, Shannon Piazza Bartholomew and Christine Piazza Strong; siblings, Marguerite Kelly, Ann Koenig, Sandra Boggio, Helene Piazza, Tommy Piazza, Paul Piazza, Christine Ford and Michael Piazza; eleven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and lifelong friend, Jackie Adams.

A Prayer Service will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. and visitation will follow until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. The family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 300 South Davis Drive, Warner Robins, Georgia, 31088.
