Josephine Tischer

Josephine Tischer, 77, entered into rest on Friday, September 19, 2014.

Mrs. Tischer was born on March 12, 1937 in Savannah, Georgia. A loving, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Josephine was preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Tischer Carroll, parents, Fred and Mamie Wasson, Sr., and sister, Viola Whitaker.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband Carleton Tischer; children, Richard E. Tischer, Milledgeville; Janice T. Gorham (David), Bonaire and Rodney C. Tischer (Casey); Kathleen; thirteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and brother Fred E. Wasson (Kitty), Savannah, Georgia.

Visitation will be Monday, September 22, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 in the chapel of First Christian Church 2100 Macon Road, Perry, Georgia with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
