Juanita M. McCormick, 85, entered into rest Sunday, March 15, 2009.
Mrs. McCormick was born on December 28, 1923 in Samson, Alabama. A graduate of Bethlehem High School, Bethlehem, Florida and of Riley's Business College, Dothan, Alabama, she was a member of the Reserve Officers Wives Association. She had been employed as a buyer and sales associate by Evelyn's. Her husband, John F. McCormick, grandson, Keith Jarzynka, parents, James Monroe Metcalf and Bera Estelle Brown Metcalf, three sisters and a brother all predeceased her.
Treasuring her memory are her son, Don Jarzynka (Wanda) Bonaire; grandsons, Lance Jarzynka and Chad Jarzynka; great-grandchildren, Jason Jarzynka , Madison Jarzynka and Heather Jarzynka; six step-children; seven step-great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Dyson (Jimmy), Mableton; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 17, 2009 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with the Reverend Jerry Walls officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Heart Association, 3312 Northside Drive, Suite 140A, Macon GA 31210-0429.
