Juanita Winslett Lane, 73, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2015.
Juanita was born to the late James Winslett and Roberta Butler Winslett Swain on April 30, 1942 in Allentown, Georgia. She was a graduate of Warner Robins High School Class of 1960. Juanita was a former member of Eatonton United Methodist Church and an active member of Centerville United Methodist Church. She served in the Women's Prison Ministry, was active in her Sunday school class, and Tuesday morning prayer group. Juanita was a realtor at Lane Realty in Eatonton, Georgia and in her spare time she enjoyed art, painting, and loved water aerobics.
Along with her parents, brother and sister in law, James Ray and Donna Winslett; her stepson; and step-daughter, preceded her in death.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of 35 years, James E. Lane of Warner Robins; sons, Jim Marshall of Washington, D.C., Ronnie Marshall of Macon; 2 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; step-daughter-in-law, Candy Lane of Warner Robins; aunt, Ruth Butler George of Warner Robins; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews, including Patty Bryant and Teresa Sterns.
Visitation will be Monday, August 17, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Following the service, Juanita will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
The family will appreciate flowers or donations may be given in memory of Juanita Winslett Lane to Centerville United Methodist Church, 600 N. Houston Lake Blvd. Centerville, Ga. 31028 or to the Charity of Donor's choice.
