Judy Rutland, 78, entered into rest on Sunday, June 28, 2009.

Ms. Rutland was born on July 7, 1930, in Bend, Oregon. A devoted mother, she was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Her parents, Robert David Hester and Echo Ceda Woodside Hester, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughters, Georgia Rutland, of Oglethorpe, Georgia, Mary Ham, of Huschton, Georgia, Terrie Miller, of Gresham, Oregon, and Martha Rutland, of Louisiana; sons, Barron Rutland, of Albany, Georgia, and John L. Rutland, of Utah; grandchildren, Shalara Brown, of Atlanta, Georgia, Kristen, Daniel and Richard Ham, of Warner Robins, Georgia, Jorrell Scott, and Lira Reid of Macon, Georgia, Ethan and Kyle Rutland, of Gray, Georgia, Shalani and Dorn Ayers, of Atlanta, Georgia; sisters, Alvania England, of California, and Aeshaun Vinson, of Alabama; great-grandchildren, Reileigh, Rebecca and Kiran Bartlett, Madison, Caidyn and McKinley Ayers, Skylar and Summer Reid, Ronin and Leighton Scott and Aiden Ham.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2009, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, with visitation following until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at McCullough Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Ste. A, Macon GA 31201.
