Judy Carolyn Beverly

Judy Carolyn Beverly, 70, entered into rest on Thursday, June 20, 2024. 

Judy was born on July 24, 1953, in Moultrie, Georgia to the late Floy Sweat and Rozelle Whittington. Known affectionately as “Granny”, Judy loved everyone, and everyone loved her. She was the best wife a husband could have asked for and her life revolved around her family. Always prepared with treats for everyone, she loved to visit and play with her grandchildren whenever she was able. Judy will be remembered for her contagious and funny personality, along with the best Brunswick Stew around.  

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her brother, Gene Sweat. 

Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband, Monty James Beverly; daughter, Stacy Shehee (Jimmy) of Kathleen; grandchildren, Taylor Shehee of Kathleen, Halee Nelson (Cody) of Perry, Landon Shehee of Kathleen, and Kelsey Shehee of Kathleen; great-grandchildren, Maddie Grace Nelson, Charlee Kate Nelson, and Lilah Carolyn Shehee; siblings, Eve Dunn (James) of Moultrie, and Connie Bivins of Moultrie; along with extended family including Linda Atkins of Perry and many nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends. 

Visitation will be Monday, June 24, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Bonaire First Baptist Church. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Bonaire First Baptist Church.
