Judy Knopp Stoner

Judy Knopp Stoner, 59, passed away in her home on September 11, 2005. Services will be held at Central Baptist Church at 10:00a.m. on Wednesday September 14, 2005 with interment following in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 13, 2005 from 6 until 8 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to the Joy in the Journey Building Fund at Central Baptist Church, 1120 Lake Joy Road, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088.

Mrs. Stoner was born in Newport, Arkansas in 1946 and graduated from Newport High School in 1964. She worked as a homemaker for a number of years and retired from Sears Department Store. Mrs. Stoner was a member of Central Baptist Church, where she was also a member of the Adult IV Sunday School Class, the Choir, and Joybells. She was past President of the Officers’ Wives Club at Moody Air Force Base and was a member of Waterford and International City Ladies Golf Associations in Houston County. Her brother, Joe P. Knopp, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Tommy C. Stoner, Warner Robins, Georgia; son, Curtis Blake Stoner (Jane), Macon, Georgia; daughter, Kelly Jo Baker (Brent), Woodstock, Georgia; parents, Orville and Beatrice Knopp, Newport, Arkansas; brothers, Orville M. Knopp, Jr., Conway, Arkansas; Jerry P. Knopp, Cherokee Village, Arkansas; grandchildren, Julia Elizabeth Stoner and Chase Alan Baker.
