Judy Rogers

Judy Cosby Rogers of Byron passed from this life on October 10, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Morgan Cosby and Annie Laurie Edwards Cosby; and siblings, Joyce Colvin, Charles Cosby, and Jess Cosby.

Judy was born just five days after Christmas, her favorite holiday, on December 30, 1946, in Atlanta, Georgia. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Centerville. She spent 30-plus years at Robins Air Force Base as an office manager. During her spare time, Judy loved to travel and spend time with her family. During her 73 years of life, she accumulated a large collection of teddy bears.

Left to remember Judy are her husband of 52 years, Jimmy Rogers; daughters, Jina Lee (Tod) of Byron and Angela Lee (Greg) of Athens, Georgia; and grandchildren, Madelyne Lee, Alex Lee, Morgan Lee, and Mackenzie Lee.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Judy to the Beverly Olson Children's Hospital, Navicent Health, 888 Pine St., Macon, GA 31201.

A graveside service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 14, 2020, at Magnolia Park Cemetery with Rev. Charles Burnam officiating.
