Julie Lea Kadair, 56, entered into rest on Tuesday, August 22, 2023.

Julie was born on April 19, 1967, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was a remarkable individual whose life was a testament to the power of passion, creativity, and spirituality. Julie exhibited a love for life that was infectious to all who crossed her path. One of her greatest passions was gymnastics, a sport that ignited a fire within her. She found solace in meditation, prayer, and writing. In her free time, she enjoyed spending as much time as she could with her grandchildren.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her parents, Alvin and Carolyn Smith; son, Jordan Shaben Kadair; grandchildren, Isabelle Sophia Kadair and Dalton Joseph Kadair; and siblings, Jill Smith and Scott Smith.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 14, 2023, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
