Junior Felipe Jimenez

Early on the morning of Tuesday, January 12, 2021, Junior Jimenez entered the gates of heaven.

Junior Felipe Jimenez was born on January 13, 2006, in Macon, Georgia to Ruben and Alicia Jimenez of Byron. He was a freshman at Peach County High School where he played football and loved gym class. His goal was to join the cross-country team and he practiced every day to achieve this. Junior was very athletic and enjoyed running and exercising, often frequenting the gym with his brother, Sergio and his parents. Junior had plans to be a nutritionist when he grew up. He enjoyed visiting his oldest sister in Chicago where they would run along the scenic Lake Shore route or go for long walks. He loved listening to music and singing in the shower. Junior loved eating late at night with his sister Cindy. His favorite meal she made was Alfredo pasta. He loved to make jokes and his laughter was contagious. Junior had a smile that could light up the entire world. He loved his family and his dog, Gucci. He will be very dearly missed and the sun will not shine quite as bright without his smile.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving parents; Ruben and Alicia Jimenez; brother, Sergio Vasquez and sisters, Noelia Vasquez and Cindy Jimenez.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January, 18, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Tomas Beroch officiating. Following the service, Junior will be laid to rest in Rose Hill Cemetery in Macon, Georgia.

Junior Felipe Jimenez nació el 13 de enero de 2006 en Macon, Georgia de Ruben y Alicia Jimenez de Byron. Era un estudiante de primer año en la escuela secundaria del condado de Peach, donde jugaba al fútbol y le encantaba la clase de gimnasia. Su objetivo era unirse al equipo de campo traviesa y practicaba todos los días para lograrlo. Sus amados padres atesorarán para siempre su memoria; Ruben y Alicia Jimenez; hermano, Sergio Vasquez y hermanas, Noelia Vasquez y Cindy Jimenez.

Se celebrará una misa fúnebre a las 11:00 a.m. el lunes 18 de enero de 2021 en la Iglesia Católica del Sagrado Corazón con el padre Tomas Beroch oficiando. Después del servicio, Junior será sepultado en el cementerio Rose Hill en Macon, Georgia.
