On Saturday, October 15, 2022, Karen J. Langlie joined her Lord and Savior in Heaven. She was 78 years old.
The daughter of the late Curtis and Alma Jones, Karen was born on November 25, 1943, in Thomaston, Georgia. She spent most of her life as a resident of Warner Robins. Karen enjoyed making crafts of all kinds; she was especially gifted in crocheting. A master gardener, Karen had a green thumb and a love for plants and flowers alike. Above all, she was a doting grandmother and proud of all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her husband, Lennis Langlie; brother, Ronald Jones; and great-grandchild, Natalie Langlie.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Cyle Capelle (Thomas) of Warner Robins, Cheri Buice (Tim) of Bonaire, Diane Mercer (Mark) of Warner Robins, Duane Langlie (Teresa) of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Kaci Register (Sam) of Kathleen; Kalen Capelle (Christina) of Perry, John Buice (Amy) of Tucker, Jordan Buice and Joshua Buice of Bonaire, Tyler Mercer (Jessica) of Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina; Alex Mercer (Melissa) of Woodstock, Matt Mercer of Athens, Ashley Langlie of Bonaire, Kevin Langlie of Marietta, Bryan Langlie and Dylan Langlie of Warner Robins; great-grandchildren, Adam Miles, Arianna Langlie, and Alaiya Langlie, all of Bonaire, Hunter Capelle and Hattie Capelle of Perry; siblings, Ann Arrowsmith of Byron, Sonia Stephens and Joyce Duncan of Reynolds, and Steve Jones (Amelia) of Kathleen.
At the family’s request, Karen will be laid to rest privately in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Karen to the charity of your choice.
