Karen Jackson Pless, doting mother and grandmother, left her earthly home on the morning of April 21, 2021. She was 58 years old.
Loved by all who met her, Karen had an infectious smile that could light up any room. She spent over 37 years at Robins Air Force Base as a project manager. Her passion was helping others and she found her calling working in the communications directorate. When she wasn’t working, Karen was an avid Georgia football fan and was fond of attending Atlanta Braves games. Her greatest love in life were her three children and three precious grandchildren.
She was born in Peach County on July 9, 1962, to Gail Panzer and the late Charles Jackson, who preceded her in death.
Karen’s memory will forever be treasured by her daughters, Lacie Mattox (Nicholas) and Kellie Pless; son, Casey Pless; grandchildren, Kamden Mattox, Brayden Mattox, and Jackson Reynolds; mother, Gail Panzer (Edward) of Enon, Ohio; sister, Kristy Adcock; niece, Austin Adcock; nephew, Alex Adcock; and longtime partner and companion, Edwin Lozada.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at McCullough Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held immediately following the visitation in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
