Life for Kelcey A’Von Coates began January 14, 1991, when he was born into the lives of his parents, Wanda P. Coates Jackson (Melvin) and Tyrome L. Holiday. He attended the public school system of Houston County. In his younger years he worked at the Deloris Toliver Center and Phillips Arena.
Kelcey enjoyed his life and enjoyed having family and friends around. He was an outgoing person who loved to laugh. A precious life was cut short when he departed this earthly life on February 6, 2022. Those left to cherish his memory are his mother; brothers, Abry Holiday, Trammel Coates, Taurus Coates and sister, Mallory Jackson; grandparents, Rosia Nelson of Kathleen and Maudie Coates of Perry and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
A memorial gathering celebrating Kelcey’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 14, 2022, at McCullough Funeral Home.
