Kenneth Earl Onsted

Kenneth “Ken” Earl Onsted, 90, entered into rest on June 10, 2023.

Ken was born on August 21,1932 in New Philadelphia, Ohio. Mr. Onsted served in the United States Air Force until he retired as a Master Sergeant.  After retirement, he continued his career at Robins Air Force Base as an aircraft mechanic. He was an active member at First Presbyterian Church of Warner Robins. He served in many capacities at the church and sang in the choir. He was an avid golfer and was the former Green Superintendent at Robins Air Force Base Golf Club and Sandy Run Golf Club. Several of his hobbies included repairing small engines and woodworking.

Mr. Onsted was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Busbee Onsted; and his parents, Lloyd and Margaret Page Onsted

His memory will forever be treasured by his sons, Jeff Onsted (Marcine) and Keith Onsted (Gail); grandchildren, Cheryl DuBose (Richard), Jennifer Gomez (Miguel), and Erin NeeSmith (Tommy); great-grandchildren, Dilan DuBose, Abigail NeeSmith, Brady NeeSmith, and Brittany DuBose (Preston Hall).

A graveside service will be held at Magnolia Park Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday June 13, 2023.
