Kenneth George Sorrell Sr.

Kenneth “Ken” Sorrell, 80, passed away on Monday, July 16, 2007.

Mr. Sorrell was born on December 10, 1926 in Grove Park, Florida. He was of the Baptist faith. His parents, George Baldwin Sorrell and Alma Mae Minton Happoldt, preceded him in death. Mr. Sorrell was a WW II army veteran. He retired from Robins Air Force Base. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose and of the Warner Robins Bowling Association.

Survivors include his wife, Noveline McLain Sorrell, Warner Robins; daughters, Brenda McAlpin, Warner Robins; Alma Hylton (Gary), Columbus, Ohio; sons, Kenneth “Ken” Sorrell, Jr. (Gerri), Warner Robins; Robert Sorrell (Frankie), San Antonio, Texas, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 18, 2007, from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 19, 2007, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Parkway Memorial Gardens.
