Kil Popkoski, 66, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 11, 2016.
Kil was born on February 11, 1950 in Seoul, South Korea to the late Pak, Yong Sop and Chong, Wol Tok. Following high school, Kil continued her education in cosmetology. The happiest times were when she lived in California from 1977 to 1980. In 1982 she moved to Warner Robins and became a founding member of Full Gospel-Warner Robins where she was also a deacon. Kil enjoyed bowling, playing the piano and singing; but most of all she loved time spent with her family.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of 46 years, Robert Popkoski of Warner Robins; children, James Popkoski of Korea; John M. Popkoski of Warner Robins; one granddaughter; sisters, Kyong Min Yi of Centerville; Dee Kyongok Winecoff of Warner Robins; brother, Tae Yong Pak of Macon; as well as four nieces and one nephew.
Visitation with Kil's family will be Sunday, December 18, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of McCullough. After the service, Kil will be laid to rest in Parkway Memorial Gardens.
