Kim Swain-Baker

Kim Swain-Baker, 42, entered into rest on Wednesday, November 11, 2009.

Kim was born on October 16, 1967, in Macon. A civil servant, she was employed as a Dormitory Manager at Robins Air Force Base; she assisted new airmen in their transition into the community. She was a member of Harvest Church, where she attended Heather Rady's Sunday School Class and was a small group leader.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her beautiful and precious baby girl, Amber Lee Ruffner; parents, James J. Swain and Karen T. Swain, Bonaire; brothers, David (Tracy) Swain, Kathleen, and James J. Swain, Jr., Bonaire; a number of nieces and nephews; several great nieces and great nephews; and dozens of other children who all called her "Mama Kim", including Angel Swain, and Leslie and Matt Burnam.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 12, 2009, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 13, 2009, at Harvest Church, Pastors Jim and Jennifer Cowart officiating.
