Kristopher Lee Shepherd

Kristopher Shepherd, 36, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 13, 2020. Born on July 15, 1984 in Panama City, Florida, he was a 2002 graduate of Warner Robins High School. Kristopher later graduated from Armstrong-Atlantic University in Savannah with Bachelor’s degrees in Library Science and History.

Happy, funny, and witty, Kristopher could brighten anyone’s day. His love of people and his fun and bright spirit never failed anyone. Kristopher was a big kid at heart who adored kids and animals, especially his kitty, Zahra, and they all loved him the same. He enjoyed listening to music and reading in his free time.

Kristopher is survived by his loving parents, Betty and Steve Wilson; stepfather, Jeff Vargas; siblings, Jacob Vargas (Kaitlyn), Ryan Vargas (Hannah), Miranda Dykes (Jesse), Lisa Wilson Hodges, Shea Wilson Mica (Chris), and Eric Wilson; grandparents, John and Shirley Long; aunts and uncles, Johnna Long Lickert, Timothy and Derric Long, and Suzanne Beers (Henry); and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who loved him dearly.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 20, 2020, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. They invite anyone who wishes to share a memory of Kristopher to speak at 2:30 p.m.
