On the morning of Sunday, April 15, 2018, Landyn Pelletier gained his angel wings. He was 20 months and 1 week old and the light of his parents’ lives.
Landyn’s precious life began on July 8, 2016 in Columbus, Mississippi. He was a bright and adventurous baby boy, who brought joy and love to those around him. Even at a young age, Landyn enjoyed imitating his parents. He was energetic and loved being chased and tickled, especially by his dad. He enjoyed dancing, climbing, playing outdoors, and most of all giving hugs and kisses. Landyn’s favorite foods were cheese puffs, jellybeans, peanut butter, bacon and eggs. Landyn and his mom often enjoyed a special treat splitting “munchkins” from Dunkin Donuts. Orange was his favorite color, and he loved watching Curious George. A typical boy, Landyn loved wearing boots and anything to do with airplanes, trains, and buses.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving parents, Patrick and Jenni Sweger-Pelletier; grandparents, Donald and Susan Pelletier of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Barry Sweger and George-Ann Sweger of Idaville, Pennsylvania; great-grandmothers, Dorothy Pelletier of Hampden, Maine, Christine Albert, Idaville, Pennsylvania, Gloria Drayer, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 19, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of McCullough. After the service, a reception will be held at the Farmhouse located behind McCullough.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Landyn Altair Pelletier to Friends of Perry Animal Shelter (FOPAS), P.O. Box 2001, Perry, GA 31069.
