Larry R. Evans

Larry R. Evans, 60, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2006. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 22, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will be in Pepperton Cemetery, Jackson, Georgia at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mr. Evans was born on April 8, 1946 in Monticello, Georgia. He was of the Presbyterian faith. He proudly served for fourteen years in the United States Army. He was a member of the American Legion Post #172, DAV, VFW and the Loyal Order of Moose. His father, William Rufus Evans, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his daughter, Lisa Marie Evans, Kathleen; mother, Hazel Westfall, Warner Robins; sister, Lynda Saunders (Tom), Warner Robins; brother, Sam L. Evans (Sonja), Talladega, AL and companion, Patricia Davis, Macon.
