Laura Carroll Haas

Laura Haas, 87, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2017.

Laura was born on July 28, 1929 to the late Ralph and Hannah Leek Carroll in Rolla, Missouri. An outstanding homemaker, she was the devoted wife of the late Glenn Edward Haas. Family was always her first and very highest priority. In 2001, Laura moved to Warner Robins and became a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. She enjoyed attending Bible Study and numerous other church activities. In her spare time, Laura loved to knit, read and spend time with her family.

Along with her husband and parents, her daughter, Nancy Lynn, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Glenda Brown (Doug) of Pleasant Hill, California; Karen Johnson of Macon; Debi Cole (J.T.) of Warner Robins; Christi Bacon (Doug) of Centerville; Johnnie "Son" Whately of Bonaire; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren as well as a host of other friends that became family.

A memorial service to celebrate Laura's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 16, 2017 at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. Laura will be laid to rest in Andersonville National Cemetery.
