Laura Doris Bickford

Laura Bickford, 75, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2005, at Serenity Gates. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2005, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral. Burial will be private. Visitation will be Friday, July 15, 2005, from 6 until 8 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Hospice of Houston County, 103 Westridge Dr., Warner Robins, GA 31088.

Laura was born in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Jacob and Magdeline Schmidt. Since living in Warner Robins, she was a volunteer at Happy Hour School, a certified nutritionist and owner of Laura’s Nutritionist Shoppe, and more recently very active with her horses.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Bickford, Warner Robins; daughter, Ilene Bickford Gillespie (Clay), Warner Robins; sister, Jacqueline Finch; brother, Michael Schmidt, both of Plymouth, NC; grandchildren, Stacy, Stephanie, and David Gillespie, all of Warner Robins; several nieces and nephews.
