Laura Martin Merrell

Laura Martin Merrell, 74, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2006. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 2, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with entombment following in Magnolia Park Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Hospice Care Options 718 Griffin Avenue Eastman, GA 31023.

Mrs. Merrell was born on December 1, 1931 in Cary, Georgia. She retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base where she was a material expeditor. Her parents, Willie Philip Pipkin and Viola Udell Faulk Pipkin, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, W.B. Merrell, Jr., Cochran; children, Bill Martin, Athens; Ronnie Martin (Jolie), Donna Moore (J.P.), Kenneth Martin (Patty), all of Warner Robins; step children, Benny Merrell (Tip), Fort Valley; Mary Stapleton (Ricky), Cochran; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
