Lawrence J. Laporta

Lawrence J. LaPorta, 79, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2004 at the Medical Center of Central Georgia. Services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, January 4, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will precede the service from 2 until 3 p.m. Sunday at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mr. LaPorta was born in Bridgeport, CT. He retired from cemetery maintenance. His parents, Lawrence and Jenny LaPorta, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Carmela LaPorta, Warner Robins; children, Larry LaPorta and Jeanine LaPorta, Warner Robins and Joseph LaPorta, Danbury, CT.

McCullough Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
