Lawrence Michael “Larry” Kronberg, 75, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 6, 2022.
Mr. Kronberg was born on June 22, 1947, in Sparta, Wisconsin to the late Earl R. and Dorothy Schmitz Kronberg. He served his country with valor and honor in the United States Air Force and then continued in civil service on Robins Air Force Base. An avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Atlanta Braves, Mr. Kronberg also enjoyed a round of golf, a hand of poker, or an evening of karaoke. He especially looked forward to annual vacations with his family. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lela Katherine Kronberg.
His memory will forever be treasured by his children, Lauralee Manchester (Josh) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Ryan P. Kronberg of Warner Robins, and Christy Williams (Chris) of North Las Vegas, Nevada; grandchildren, Jeremy, Erin, Ethan, Kaleb, Madison, and Carson; brothers, Dennis Kronberg (Dona) of Onalaska, Wisconsin and Bob Kronberg (Penny) of Venice, Florida; and a host of other loving family members and friends.
A rosary prayer service for Mr. Kronberg will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at 5:30 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Visitation with his family will immediately follow from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. The funeral service celebrating his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 11, 2022, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Thomas J. Fey and Deacon Jim Hunt officiating. Following the service, Mr. Kronberg will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery with full military honors.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Larry Kronberg to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org/donate).
