Lebern Day

Lebern Day, 86, entered into rest on Tuesday, July 22, 2008.

Mr. Day was born on March 25, 1922 in Coffee County, Georgia. With pride and honor he served his country in the U. S. Army Air Corps and participated in World War II. He enjoyed farming and was a member of Warner Robins Moose Lodge #1688 and of The Rain Church. He was preceded in death by his son, Charles (C.L.) Day, parents, James Henderson Day and Boyce Carver Day, seven brothers and five sisters.

His memory will forever be treasured by his wife, Elizabeth Royal Day, Kathleen; daughters, Helen Spacek (Gil), Perry, Melcena Williams (Robert), Warner Robins; sons, Kenneth Day (Joy), Kathleen, Michael Day (Gloria), Centerville; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 24, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 25, 2008, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Heartland Hospice, 115 Arkwright Landing, Macon GA 31210 or to the Alzheimer's Association, 277 Martin Luther King Boulevard, Suite 201, Macon GA 31201
