Lee F. Roberts

Lee F. Roberts, Sr., 86, passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2004 at the Houston Medical Center. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 25, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the First United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 205 N. Davis Dr, Warner Robins, GA 31093

Mr. Roberts was born in Oil City, PA. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Warner Robins. He retired from civil service at Robins AFB as supervisor of the Air Borne and Radar Division. He was a retired major from the United States Air Force serving in WWII and Korea. His wife, Marian Roberts, father, Harold Leroy Roberts, mother, Genevieve Roberts Peck and son, Lee “Fred” Roberts, Jr. preceded him in death.

Survivors include his friends, Laverne Purser, Bonaire, Janice Riggins, Macon; nieces, Barbara Copeland (Al), Warren, OH, Beth C. Gettig, Cincinnati, OH, Jennifer Peace (James), Warren, OH, Dorothy Bailey (Dale), Redlands, CA, Judith Roberts Bennetts (Frank), Los Angeles, CA and host of other nieces and nephews from Ohio, Pennsylvania, California and Australia.
