Lee Kadan

Lee Kadan, 61, entered into rest on Tuesday, December 12, 2023.

Lee was born on February 13, 1962, in Vienna, Georgia. Lee's life was a testament to the beauty of a servant's heart, as she selflessly opened her home to friends and family in their times of need. She loved cooking and hosted gatherings with family and friends whenever she could. She always went above and beyond for her children and made their needs her first priority. Her favorite role was being a mother until she became a grandmother, or MeMa, to her treasured granddaughter, Lila. Lee's compassionate spirit extended beyond people to include her beloved animal companions, Bogey, Tessie, and Nikki, who held a special place in her heart. A savvy shopper, Lee enjoyed the thrill of finding a good deal. Her artistic touch was evident in the floral arrangements and thoughtfully crafted gift baskets that she lovingly created. She also enjoyed the delight of singing and dancing. Lee’s memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved.

Lee was preceded in death by her mother, Hattie Mae Spears Turner, son, James “Jamie” Clayton McElmurray, and siblings, RJ Turner, Juanita Tyler, and Sarah Turner.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband, Adam Kadan; daughter, Tabitha Tyus (Landon) and their daughter, Lila; siblings, Barbara Berry (Randy), Elijah Turner, and Reba Studer (Tom) along with many cherished nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 17, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.  A funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.  Afterward, Lee will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
