Lena Mae Stone

Warner Robins – Lena Mae Stone, 93, passed away on April 14, 2007. Mrs. Stone was born on September 20, 1913, in Whitier, North Carolina. She was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church and Martha’s Sunday School Class; she was retired from Robins Air Force Base and had lived in Unadilla for ten years.

Her husband Thomas H. Stone, parents, Thomas Henry Green and Tina Sellers Green, sisters Hattie Taylor and Pearl Bush preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter, Evelyn Griffin, Unadilla; sons Kenneth Stone, Warner Robins and Larry Stone, Unadilla; sister, Edna Moeglin, Canton, Ohio; five grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 15, 2007, from 1:00 until 2:30 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home with graveside services to follow at Magnolia Park Cemetery at 3:00 p.m.. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Heart Association, 804 Cherry St., Macon, GA 31201 or the American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 4406, Macon, GA 31208.
