Leon Parrish

Leon Parrish, 81, passed away on Monday, October 15, 2007.

Mr. Parrish was born on April 26, 1926 in Dora, Alabama. He was a United States Air Force veteran who served during World War II, and the Korean and Vietnam Conflicts. Following his retirement from active duty, he worked for Overseas National Airways. He was an avid golfer, and a member of Waterford Golf Club. His parents, Walter Lee Parrish and Lettie Parrish, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife of fifty-two years, Tamae “Johnnie” Parrish, Warner Robins; sisters, Hazel Mayfield, Birmingham, Alabama, and Ruth Johnson, Jacksonville, Alabama; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Dr., Warner Robins, GA 31088.
