Leonard Asher

Leonard Asher, 65, passed away on Monday, February 11, 2008.

Mr. Asher was born on February 27, 1942 in Beverly, Kentucky. With pride and honor, he served his country in the U. S. Marine Corps, Marine Corps Reserves and the Georgia National Guards. He was a board member of the Red Bird School Alumni Association in Beverly, Kentucky. His wife, Ann Hart Asher, parents, Jack and Grace Asher, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his daughters, Penny Rogers, Warner Robins, Georgia Liesa Karren Asher, New York, Paula Ann Hodges (Wendell), Albany, Georgia; brothers, US Asher, Fort Wayne, Indiana and Everett Asher, Louisiana; sister, Wanda McIntire; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 16, 2008 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
