Leone D. Cornelius

Leone D. Cornelius, age 96, passed away on Monday, June 14, 2004. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 16, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will precede the service, starting at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Joy in the Journey, Central Baptist Church Building Fund, 1647 Watson Blvd., Warner Robins, GA 31093.

Mrs. Cornelius was born in Pitts, Georgia, to the late Robert and Lydia Watson. She lived in Walnut Grove, Alabama, with her husband, Hal F. Cornelius, for many years. After the death of her husband, Mrs. Cornelius moved to Warner Robins. She was a member of Central Baptist Church and the Sunshine Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers, and three sisters.

Survivors include her sisters, Evelyn Ross and Aline Suarez, both of Warner Robins, and several nieces and nephews.
