Lester "Buddy" Bowen

Buddy Bowen, loving husband, father, brother, and uncle, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on the afternoon of Wednesday, May 31, 2017. He was 76.

Buddy was born on November 23, 1940 in Eastman, Georgia to the late Eschol and Mamie Livingston Bowen. He worked as an engineering support technician from the State of Georgia from where he eventually retired. Coaching Little League Baseball and fishing were some of Buddy's favorite loves, but first and foremost, his heart belonged to wife, son, and extended family.

He leaves his memory behind with his devoted wife of 55 years, Ann Bowen of Warner Robins; son, Eric Nolan Bowen of Conley, Georgia; sister, Annette Rogers (J.W.) of Eastman; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 3rd in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Pastor Etah Garcia will officiate. Following the service, Mr. Bowen will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
