Lillian L. “Lucille” Phillips, 77, passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2004, at a local hospital. Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, May 2, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M on Saturday, May 1, at McCullough Funeral Home.
Mrs. Phillips was born in September 14, 1926, in Atlanta the daughter of the late James Brown and Emma Bloodworth Brown. She made her home in Warner Robins where she was a member of Southside Baptist Church, the Older Americans Council, the Martha Berry Order of Eastern Star and a former Pink Lady. She is preceded in death by her husband, L. J. “Jay” Phillips, and granddaughter, Kelly Phillips.
Survivors include her son, Michael Phillips (Mary), Warner Robins; grandson, Christopher Phillips, Jacksonville, FL; nieces Patsy Ives (Jim), Englewood, FL; and Sheila Melville (Richard), Bahrain, United Arab Emirates; nephew, Dee Freeman (Janet), Atlanta; and several great-nieces and nephews.
