Lillian "Lil" Pigg

October 25, 1924 — June 9, 2018

Lillian Pigg, 93, passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2018.

Lil was born on October 25, 1924 in Hornbeak, Tennessee. She met her late husband, Bill while attending high school, and they were married July 28, 1943. Following high school, Bill enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he proudly served for over 26 years. Lil traveled the world with Bill while he was in the Air Force, but their home of over 30 years was in Warner Robins, Georgia. Lil was an avid square dancer for over 25 years and was a member of the Circle 8 Square Dancers, American Legion, and the NCO Club. In addition to square dancing, she enjoyed cooking, and crossword puzzles, but most of all she enjoyed the time spent with her dear family and close friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Bill and her son, Larry. Her loving memory will forever be treasured by her granddaughter, Shannon.

Visitation with Lillian’s family will be Wednesday, June 13, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 12:00pm on Thursday, June 14, 2018, in Andersonville National Cemetery where Lil will be laid to rest alongside her husband and son.
