Linda Arlene Perkins

January 10, 1950 — May 17, 2023

Linda Arlene Perkins, 73, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, May 17, 2023.


Born on January 10,1950 in Oklahoma City, OK, Linda moved with her family to Warner Robins, Georgia in 1953. She was a 1968 graduate of Northside High School and went on to earn her PharmD degree from the University of Georgia. In her spare time, Linda enjoyed gardening, playing Pickleball and caring for the elderly in our community. She even worked with Visiting Angels for a short time. Linda took pride in helping raise/co-grandparent her great nieces and nephews. She and her sister were very close and were most often seen together. She was a beloved sister and friend and will be tremendously missed by all of her family and friends.


Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Ginette Perkins; brother, Jimmy Perkins; brother-in-law, Julian Alexander; and great-nephew, Taylor Jeffreys.


Her memory will forever be treasured by her sister, Annette Perkins Alexander; nephew and his wife, Danny and Elizabeth Alexander along with their daughter, Maggie Alexander; niece and her husband, Andrea and Clint Jackson and their children, Hunter Jackson (Kayci), Baylee Bentley (Wil), Landon Duernberger and Kendall Jackson; and great-great-nephew, Parker Jackson.


A memorial gathering will take place on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Byron Baptist Church. A memorial service will immediately follow in the church at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Bill Barnes officiating. Linda will be laid to rest privately in Magnolia Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Linda Perkins to Byron Baptist Church Gymnasium Restoration Project, 100 W. White Rd., Byron, GA 31008 or to the Rescue Mission of Middle Georgia, 6601 Zebulon Rd., Macon, GA 31220.
