Early on the morning of Thursday, August 11, 2022, Linda Dominy Hanselman, 72, joined her Lord and Savior in heaven.
Mrs. Hanselman was born on January 1, 1950 in Dublin, Georgia to the late Charles Leland and Mildred Warren Dominy. After graduating in 1969 from Warner Robins High School, she married Richard H. “Rick” Hanselman and began working as a beautician. But, when her children came along, she made the decision to devote her life to being a full-time housewife and mother to four wonderful children. When the children were grown, Mrs. Hanselman returned to work for Hallmark Card Company before her grandchildren began arriving, at which time she gladly set aside her career to help take care of them. When she had a free moment, she enjoyed a variety of crafts as well as working in the yard and tending to her flowers.
She was an active member of Evergreen Baptist Church for 30 years. In recent years, she attended Harvest Church where she was actively involved. In her husband’s memory, she loved cheering on the Atlanta Braves.
In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Ray Dominy.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving children, Jennifer Hanselman Shell (Tim) of Warner Robins, Regina Hanselman Jenkins (Chris) of Lizella, Daniel Stephen Hanselman (Deanna) of Bonaire, and Kristina Gail Hurst (Jason) of Warner Robins; her grandchildren, Austin Shell, Amanda Shell, Brittany Baughcum, Joshua Shell, Caitlyn Shell, Kayla Jenkins, Luke Jenkins, Bailey Hanselman, Carter Hanselman, Madison Ferrell, Haylee Ferrell, Kane Ferrell, Penelope Floyd, Zoey Floyd, Aria Floyd, Weston Hurst, and Caeleigh Hurst; five great-grandchildren; two great-great- grandchildren; her brother, James Dominy (Tina) of Macon; and a host of other family members and friends.
Visitation with Mrs. Hanselman’s family will be Saturday, August 13, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. The funeral service celebrating her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 15, 2022, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Cowart and Reverend Joe Senter officiating. Following the service, Mrs. Hanselman will be laid to rest next to her husband in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
For friends and family unable to attend, the service will be streamed live via the McCullough Funeral Home Facebook page at www.facebook.com/mcculloughfuneralhome/live/.
