Linda Lou Garcia

August 18, 1939 — October 31, 2024

Warner Robins

Linda Lou Garcia, 85, entered into rest on Thursday, October 31, 2024.

Linda was born on August 18, 1939, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where she was raised and graduated from South Rapids High School in 1957. She married young and had four beautiful children and would later marry again. An incredibly hard worker, Linda worked in logistics, first for McDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida and went on to retire from Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins, Georgia after 24 years of civil service. After her retirement, she worked in nurseries in local churches and was also a crossing guard for a time. Linda enjoyed getting the opportunity to live many places in her life, including Texas, Hawaii, Minesota, and Okinawa, Japan. She was a faithful woman who attended Trinity United Methodist Church, Christ United Methodist Church, and most recently, Southside Baptist Church. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting and needle pointing blankets for all her kids, grandkids, great-grandkids, and great-great-grandkids. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Gonzalo “Butch” Garcia, mother, Ida Mae Clancy, son, David Larson, and four sisters.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Toni Larson of Tampa, Florida, Martin Larson of Henderson, Nevada, and Valerie Larson of Las Vegas, Nevada along with 13 grandchildren, two of whom she raised, Sheryl Pennington of Warner Robins, Georgia and Michael Larson of Lady Lakes, Florida, numerous great-grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

At the family’s request, all services will be private.
