Linda Jane Giddens, 75, joined her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ in Heaven on the morning of Monday, April 11, 2022.
Mrs. Giddens was born on July 12, 1946, in Anniston, Alabama. She was the daughter of the late Henry M. Daugherty and Carnell Owens Garrard. Mrs. Giddens retired as a Civilian on Robins Air Force Base. She loved to travel and would stay on the road for weeks at a time visiting with family and friends. Mrs. Giddens especially enjoyed her annual trip out west with her cousin, Barbara Goodman to see the Grand Canyon. When she was not traveling, Mrs. Giddens loved hunting for bargains, watching Auburn football, going fishing, and cooking. She was a member of Central Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Giddens was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Ronald Giddens; and grandson, Andrew Seth Hudson.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughters, Janda Gray (Billy), Taska Clayton (Ted), and Melissa Raudenbush; brother, Gene Daugherty (Mary Jim), nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren; several cousins; three nieces; as well as a host of beloved family members and friends.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, April 15, 2022, in Magnolia Park Cemetery. For friends unable to attend at this time, the service will be streamed live via the McCullough Funeral Home Facebook page at www.facebook.com/mcculloughfuneralhome/live/.
