Lindsay Flowers, 67, passed away due to illness on December 12, 2019. Lindsay worked as a sheet metal mechanic at Trane for over 15 years. He was a dedicated and a longtime valued member of Christ United Methodist Church for 30 years where he served as an usher and trip chaperone. Lindsay was a devoted volunteer travel ball softball coach for over 20 years at the Warner Robins Recreation Department. His love for coaching began with his daughter’s team and continued after his daughter’s softball career. Lindsay was fun-loving, goofy, and always made people laugh. After Lindsay fell ill, his son, Lindsay Jr., lovingly took care of him for 5 years. Most of all, Lindsay was a devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend that will be greatly missed.
Lindsay was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 31 years, Dianne Flowers; parents, Maurice and Pearl Flowers; step-mother, Carolyn Flowers; and his black lab, “Molly”.
His memory will forever be treasured by his children, Lindsay Flowers, Jr. (Sophia) and Jessica Flowers Hackney (David); grandchildren, Nicholas Brown, and Jetsen Hackney; siblings, Charlene Sullivan (Randy) and Maurene Munoz (Steve); nieces and nephews, Jason Sullivan, Jeremy Sullivan, Danielle Munoz Ghesani (Irfan), Sean Munoz; great-nephew, Zayn; and mother-in-law, Vickey Davis.
