Lisa Gail Douglas, age 54, spoke her first words when she joined her beloved mother, Linda King Douglas, in heaven, on the afternoon of Friday, January 20, 2023.
Lisa was born and raised in Warner Robins, GA, and was a lifelong member of Happy Hour since the age of four. Always happy and never without a smile on her face, she was affectionately known by her family as “The Colonel.” Lisa spent her time listening to music, watching videos, playing with ribbon, and spending time with her family, all who she dearly loved.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving father, Raymond Wesley Douglas of Bonaire; her siblings, David Douglas (Sandy) of Cleveland, OH and Kathie Axtell (Jerry) of Warner Robins; and her nephew, Tyler Axtell (Sydney).
Friends are invited to visit with Lisa’s family on Monday, January 23, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Reverend Jerry Walls officiating. Lisa will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery following the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Lisa to Happy Hour Service Center, 202 N. Davis Dr., Warner Robins, GA 31093.
