Lois C. Littleton, 87, formerly of Warner Robins, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2006 in her home. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 10, 2006 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to the donor’s favorite charity.
Mrs. Littleton was born in Sardis, Georgia on December 18, 1918. Mrs. Littleton had been a resident of Warner Robins since 1944 before moving to Destin, Florida ten years ago. She retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base where she worked as an administrative assistant. She was a charter member of Second Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years. She later became a member of Central Baptist Church. Lois will be missed by her family and friends who remember her as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Her husband, James “Pete” C. Littleton, her daughter, Patricia Savikis and her parents, Dewey and Minnie Lankford Carver preceded her in death.
Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Congleton, Destin, Florida; grand daughters, Nancy Ratliff Sports, Warner Robins; Pam Ratliff Harrison (Darryl), Fortson; great grandchildren, Corey Smith (Julie), Columbus; Lindsay Swymer (Derrick), Warner Robins; Jordan Harrison, Fortson; Drew Harrison, Fortson; great-great grandchildren, Christian and Evan Swymer, Warner Robins; sister, Evelyn Biggs, Talladega, AL; and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
