Lois Maurine Lee

Lois Maurine Southerland Lee, 94, entered into rest on Wednesday, October 6, 2010.

Mrs. Lee was born on August 26, 1916 in Birmingham, Alabama, and was a resident of Houston County since 1942. She was a charter member of Morning Garden Club in 1955 and a member of the Civilian Wives Club of Warner Robins. A devoted homemaker, Central Baptist Church was her church home, where she formerly taught The Gleaners Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Maurine Nicole Lee; husband, Frank E. Lee, Sr.; and parents, Robert Russell Southerland and Della Williams Southerland.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughter, Juanita L. Eaton, Kathleen; son, Frank Edward "Ed" Lee, Jr., (Elaine), Warner Robins; grandsons, Frank Edward "Trace" Lee, III, (Nicole), Dr. Mark E. Eaton (Melody), and Todd W. Lee (Joslyn); and great-grandchildren, Faith E. Lee, James E. Lee, Cooper L. Lee, Jackson T. Eaton and Cole A. Eaton. A very special "Thank you" to her extended family, the people who loved and cared for her at The Church Home for the Aged, where she resided for the last seven years.

Visitation will be Friday, October 8, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 8, 2010 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Dr. Owen Bozeman and Reverend Sydney Odom officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Church Home for the Aged, P.O.
