Lois Virginia "Jenny" Bryant Dean

Lois Dean, 84, entered into rest on Saturday, September 30, 2017.

Lois was born on April 15, 1933 in Peach County, Georgia to the late Loyd and Ella May Arnold Bryant. She was one of the charter members of Green Acres Baptist Church and was extremely active in the children’s ministry and in the house-keeping ministry keeping the church tidy. She loved home decorating, rearranging furniture and making her yard beautiful. Prior to becoming a homemaker, she worked for over ten years at Robins Air Force Base in the hydraulic shop. Lois had always longed to meet her Savior. When Jesus called her home, she knocked on the door and HE answered.

Her loving husband, Robert L. Dean, Sr. preceded her in death along with her parents and her siblings, Loy “Buster” Bryant, Helen Bennett and Beverly “Betty” Culpepper.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving children, Carol Pagura (John) of Warner Robins and Robert Lee Dean, Jr. of Byron; grandchildren, Fawna Wyatt (Bryan) and Angela Riley; great grandchildren, Christian Riley (Marya) and Tabitha Hollingsworth; siblings, Doris Thomas, Shirley Graham, Martha Reeder (Robert), Sidney Bryant (Sue), Bobby Bryant (Stephanie), Billy Bryant (Irene) and Dennis Bryant (Freida) and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Martha and niece, Cecelia Freeman, for their care. The family would also like to extend a special thank you to Christy Brown, Ann Boren, Faye Loden and Vicki’s Angels (VA) Healthcare for their unwavering care and support.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 3, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home with funeral services immediately following in the chapel. Afterwards, Ms. Dean will be laid to rest in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.

McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has been entrusted with Mrs. Dean's arrangements.
