Lola Belle Phillips

Lola Belle Canterbury Phillips, 83, entered into rest on Wednesday, September 4, 2013.

Lola was born on March 10, 1930 in Tonasket, Washington. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and a wonderful homemaker. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Her husband, Hubert Phillips, mother, Julia Linder, and one son Clifford Barboe, all preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Charles Barboe, Colorado; Robert Barboe, Pennsylvania; step children, Hubert Phillips, Jr., San Antonio, Texas; Michael Phillips, Copperas Cove, Texas; Lt. Col Charles Phillips, Houston, Texas; Lee Phillips, Lubbock, Texas, Lt. Col Richard Phillips, Belgrade, Serbia; Karen Harkins, Kathleen, Georgia; sisters, Leona Briese, Ella Jean Maddox, Bertha Tanner, Vera Bulger, nineteen grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and many other loving family members and friends.

A Rosary Service will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 5, with visitation following until 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 6, 2013 at St. Patrick Catholic Church with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to St. Patrick Catholic Church, 2410 Georgia Hwy 127, Kathleen, Georgia 31047 or to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street Ste. A., Macon, Georgia 31201.
