Lola Marchant Enckler , 90, entered into rest on Saturday, August 25, 2012.
Mrs. Enckler was born on December 25, 1921 in Fitzgerald, Georgia. Lola graduated from Fitzgerald High school in 1939. Lola and her husband owned and operated Harry's Hoagie Shop which she continued to run after his death. The restaurant in Rosemont, Pennsylvania was walking distance from Villiona University and was frequented by many of the college students. A member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Lola had a special love for all children; she enjoyed crossword puzzles, writing, cooking for family and friends and especially loved being a grandmother. Her husband, Harry Enckler; parents Jacob and Dora Olivia Marchant; four sisters and two brothers preceded her in death.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving children, Mickie Stewart (Bill), Kathleen, Harry Enckler (Judy), Sevierville, Tennessee, Carol Cason, Lawrenceville, Bobby Enckler, Warner Robins, Terry Enckler, Marietta and Gary Enckler, Daytona Beach, Florida; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 28, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home with a Memorial Services following at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Interment will be private.
