Lorena Schlotterback

Lorena Marie Schlotterback, 58, passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022.

Born and raised in Georgia, Lorena was a wonderful, kind, and hardworking woman. She was a caring daughter, sister, and spouse. Lorena had soft spot in her heart for all animals. In her spare time, she loved to cook and take care of her father, David. Above all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Her memory will be cherished by her father, David Hodgson; siblings, David Ray Hodgson, Michelle Gullick (Daniel), Adrienne Ferguson (Tony), Tammy Middlebrooks (Randall), James Hodgson (Heather), Zonia Swartz (John) and Hans Hauck (Denise); and a host of extended family members to include numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, husband of 32 years, Michael Schlotterback; and her mother, Pamela Hodgson.

Lorena was a sweet soul and all-around selfless person. She was always willing to help and often made herself available to lend a helping hand. Her loyalty and hospitality extended to her work life, as well. For 42 years, she was a dedicated worker at the same company.

At the family’s request, all services are private.
