Louis was born on March 13, 1932, in Amsterdam, New York to the late Louis John Calleo, Sr. and Laura Roco Calleo. Raised in Amsterdam, Louis graduated from Catholic School before answering the call of duty and enlisting in the United States Navy at the age of 17 in 1949. He was a member of the Byron Lyons Club, a former member of the Moose Club, and attending the Officer's Club on base, which he enjoyed frequenting with his wife, Sue. A devout Christian, Louis was a faithful member and Elder of the Westminster Presbyterian Church, Warner Robins, where he was admired for his kind spirit and strong faith. His kindness and unwavering integrity left a lasting impression on his family, friends, and community. Louis will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love and service will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
